1. Who we are

ServiceRig is a product of ServiceRig LLC ("ServiceRig," "we," "us"), based in Commerce, Texas. This policy explains how we handle personal information for our marketing site (servicerig.io) and the ServiceRig application.

2. Information we collect

• Account & business info — your name, email, phone, company, license, and the details you provide at signup and in settings.
• Content you create — estimates, invoices, pricebook edits, jobs, notes, and photos you add to the platform.
• Customer data you input — information about your customers (name, address, phone, job history) that you enter or import so the software can do its job. You control this data; see Section 6.
• Payment info — card and billing details, collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage & device data — how you use the app, log data, and basic device/browser information, to keep the service running and secure.

3. How we use it

To provide and improve the service, process payments and platform fees, provide support, send service and transactional messages, keep the platform secure, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI processing (RigAI)

When you use RigAI features (estimates, chat, the receptionist, business reviews), the relevant content is processed by AI to generate the output you asked for. RigAI outputs — including estimates — are drafts you review and control; they are not automatically sent or final without your action.

5. Sharing & service providers

We share data only with vendors that help us run the service, under contract and only as needed — for example: payment processing, cloud hosting and database, accounting sync when you connect it, communications delivery, and our own CRM. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell data to advertisers.

6. Data you process on behalf of your customers

For the customer information you put into ServiceRig, you are the "controller" and we are the "processor." You decide what to collect and why; we process it under your instruction to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to share that data with us and for your own privacy obligations to your customers.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive data, access controls, and audited infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting your shop's data is a first-order priority.

8. Retention

We keep data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You can request export or deletion as described below.

9. Your choices & rights

You can access, correct, export, or request deletion of your account data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the CCPA or GDPR; we honor applicable requests.

10. Cookies

The marketing site uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics and remembers basic preferences. We avoid non-essential tracking. The application uses cookies necessary to keep you signed in and the product working.

11. Children

ServiceRig is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12. Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
